Cessna 172

The Cessna Skyhawk 172, is the most popular and best-selling American single-engine plane of all time, at least one of these planes can be found in every airport in the world. It first flew in 1955, making it the most manufactured aircraft on the market.    It was developed from the Cessna 170 model of the year 1948 and today it is still being built by the company “Aviation Cessna Textron” in an improved and fully modernized version with Garmin 1000 avionics and autopilot.    Older models can be upgraded thanks to a wide range of authorized modifications such as available “Supplementary Type Certificates” (STCs) to: *Increase engine power from 180 to 210 hp (134 to 157 kW), *Add constant speed propellers, *Locate additional fuel tanks in both wingtip and baggage compartment, *(Kit Stall ) to improve landing and takeoff safety, *Avionics modernization among other applications.
